About the artisans: sister*hood believes in the potential of design & handicrafts to unlock economic opportunities for female artisans around the world. This particular product was carved by Rwandan artisans, who craft beautifully designed, handmade goods with a vision to lift their families out of poverty. We work with a social enterprise called Azizi Life to create fair trade income, so that parents can care for the health, nutrition, and education of their children. By the work of their hands, women are becoming financial contributors in their families and leaders in their communities.
